Dr. Chen gave my mom conflicting results/prognosis within 2 weeks and no new testing. He showed no compassion in talking with her or spending time talking further with her. He went from telling her she had a good 2 years to live without chemo to 8-10 months and asking if she really wanted to even do chemo. Thank goodness I found an outstanding Dr. at SCCA who is more up to date on current treatments and gave a much different prognosis. He is compassionate, but realistic. I know she will have the best treatment options out there. How scary it would be if we had stayed with Dr. Chen. It pays to do research and be an advocate for your health.
