Dr. Richard Nielsen

After reading the other review on here, I was certainly expecting the worst. I've read my share of Social Security doctor nightmares, and braced myself. Well, Dr. Nielsen was not what I was expecting. He was polite and professional. We were interrupted several times during our exam because, yes, he does not have a nurse or receptionist. I can't imagine how this man met all the requirements to get zan MD! He does not seem to be very knowledgeable, definitely does not inspire confidence, and has a terrible 'bedside' manner. He talks down to you, interrupts and doesn't let you finish talking. He does not seem to care what your problems are, only wants to have the answers to questions he is required by SS or Ins Co to ask and has no interest in any explanation or details.
