Dr. David Scheiner, DO

Dr. Scheiner is an amazing doctor!! He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He gives antibiotics only if he really feels it is necessary and does a wonderful job educating and takes the time to answer questions. I waited less than 10 minutes, which is unheard of in an urgent care setting-very efficient. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my entire visit. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The overall rating is a one because everytime I or a member of my family sees Dr. Scheiner, we end up being billed an additional $50 to $200 per visit for simple things like colds, etc., where no additional tests were performed. When I call and ask what the charges are for, I get no response. The office clerk is not helpful and won't let me talk to Dr. Scheiner to ask him. She just says that the insurance company allows him to bill for these items, so he does.

I was the only patient and waited over 20 minutes to see the doctor for cold. The only reason I went was I had a marathon five days later. Once I saw the doctor it took only 10 minutes. As I was getting up he said oh, let me check for strep. He said he didn't think I had it but just wanted to double check. I then paid $75, which I was told at the time was the full bill.
