I have been under the care of Dr Shevitz for almost 3 years. In my 40 years of dealing with my mental illness I've never encountered a therapist or a psychiatrist who had Dr Shevitz's level of compassion, caring, or understanding. He's extremely smart, but he remains humble and down-to-earth unlike most doctors (I worked iwith M.D.s in hospitals for 20 years). When in session with him I'm given his undivided attention and am made to feel worthy of that. He listens, yes, and he HEARS ME.
