Dr. Howard Thompson, MD

I cringed selecting one star. Dr. Thompson is highly unprofessional and his bed side manner could use some serious work. Too bad us Joplin mama's don't have another, better option! I have never been made to feel like I was a horrible mom by a Dr. before. Dr. Thompson seemed to have something negative to say about every aspect of my pregnancy. I will be driving an unfortunate 3 hours to go to a Dr. that treats his patients with respect.

Dr. Thompson was rude, condescending, and arrogant. I saw him for one appt and will not be going back. He rolled his eyes at my husband and I the entire appt. He proceeded to tell me until I had lost multiple babies he was not willing to do a cerclage, which is ridiculous with my history of incompetent cervix. I wouldn't trust my pregnant dog with Dr. Thompson. Do not go to him, I would rather drive an extra hour to Kansas City and get proper care for my babies! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

I think dr thompson is probably the best dr I have been to during the four pregnancies I've had. He is very knowledgeable and makes it very easy to understand what he is talking about. Any one with a high risk pregnancy I would definitely recommend dr thompson.
