I had severe cataracts in both eyes. Through this surgery, I can see clearly for the first time in years. It was so exciting to be able to see clearly immediately after surgery. It was quite a difference. I had surgery one eye at a time one week apart. That was a little difficult because of the sensitivity of my eyes using the eye drops in both eyes at the same time, but I'd do it all over again to be able to see so much better now.

Giving top marks in all areas is a first for me. I have had two cataract surgeries in the last month and it has been a wonderful experience; yes really. I have had horrible eyes since birth - I have been legally blind as long as I can remember. The diagnosis of cataracts was a blessing because it meant that I could be "fixed." Dr. Brooks explained the lens replacement surgery to me, and the surgery was an absolute piece of cake! I can see better without any correction the day after surgery than I could even with contacts, and my eyes are SO much more comfortable without having to wear the gas permeable contact lenses. He and his staff were so attentive and excited for me every step of the way. This could not have been a better experience!

From my first appt to my follow up from surgery, Dr. Brooks and his staff have made me feel comfortable and confident in the services they have provided. To me, it was scary thinking about having surgery in both eyes, but with the extreme amount of great care I received, I would highly recommend Dr Brooks to anyone!

Dr.Brooks is so good in guiding,explaining ur doubts. To begin with defining ur eye problem and then giving solutions with options. Explains thoroughly again and again what suits the best option. For surgery ,he has done the procedure with utmost care, and the hospitality of their team,by follow up calls and appointments. The office was very responsive when i called them for any little inconvenience feeling in the eye. There is a big difference in my vision. i advice that people shouldn't live with cataract when we have such a good doctor. I feel iam blessed to have dr.Brooks as my eye doctor.

I can't thank Dr. Brooks and his staff for my new eyes. At 58, my friends couldn't believe that I was having cataract surgery, but it was the best decision I've ever made. I had gotten to the point that I could no longer drive at night and was also really hesitant to do long distance driving on the highway as I really couldn't see clearly far off. I have been horribly near-sighted since I was 8 years old. I also suffered from astigmatism. Dr. Brooks took care of all this. My surgery was so easy! Dr. Brooks and his staff at the surgery center made the procedure so painless. I was so shocked at how much more I could see immediately after my surgery. The colors were brighter. I could see street signs. Now I can feel very comfortable with driving at night. My distance and my reading vision is better than it's ever been. Dr. Brooks and his caring staff have done such a great job making me feel so comfortable with this procedure. My advice to anyone who is starting to see halos at night while driving, is to ask your eye doctor and choose Dr. Brooks to do your surgery. We don't have to wait until we are old to correct cataracts. I'm so glad I've done it now! I can see to do so many more things and I don't have to worry with glasses ro contacts. Thanks, Dr. Brooks.
