She performs invasive fetal procedures such as chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, fetal blood sampling, and others required in complex cases, including, fetoscopy and laser photocoagulation for twin-twin transfusion syndrome. Dr. Simpson has served on the board of directors for the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, and was a recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award in 2010.
