Dr. Coad is the Surgical Director of Chelsea Eye Ophthalmology and director of all general ophthalmic care. He specializes in Laser Vision Correction, Cataract Lens Implants, Glaucoma Surgery and General Ophthalmology.
Dr. Coad is one of the only ophthalmologists in New York City who offers Visian ICL, which corrects myopia (nearsightedness). He is also a leader in refractive cataract surgery and is certified on several laser platforms, including VISX and Intralase lasers for correction of near/farsightedness, and astigmatism. He’s been performing LASIK, PRK and LASEK since the early 1990’s.
