He graduated from Emory University on the Dean�s List with a degree in Psychology. Dr. Hurley attended University of New Mexico�s School of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. His medical and surgical training in Orthopedics was completed at the University of Colorado-Health Sciences Center. He also spent an additional year as a Fellow in Hand Surgery at the University of New Mexico�s School of Medicine. He completed his MBA with an emphasis in Health Administration at the University of Colorado-Denver in July 2015. He was honored to give the commencement address on behalf of his fellow students. He currently serves as a Director at COPIC Insurance. He is the Past President of the Colorado Orthopedic Society, and Past President of Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists � a division of Orthopedic Centers of Colorado. He completed a Leadership Fellowship in the Optum Sequoia Physician Leaders program. Dr. Hurley has been instrumental in the development and operations of over a quarter million square feet of medical office space, four ambulatory surgery centers, and three Imaging Centers in the Colorado Front Range. His business interests include corporate governance and real estate project development. He is an ardent supporter and visiting surgeon of One World Surgery in Honduras. Dr. Hurley maintains active membership in American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Denver Medical Society, Colorado Medical Society, and Colorado Orthopedic Society. Dr. Hurley sees fractures, tendonitis, arthritis, carpal tunnel and all injuries and problems about the hand, wrist, and elbow.
