I do not believe he will ever forget me waiting in that awful *room* while waiting to see if they saved my husband. He had a perforated duodenum and they were doing exploratory surgery and Dr. Elias was one of the surgeons that literally saved his life. The nurses kept assuring me they were doing everything they could do save him and that's all they could say. The brave man Dr. Elias came walking in after surgery and said that he made it...that's when I flew at him with his military surgeon cap and my mother was telling me to let him go and this miracle worker's reply was simple..."Ma'am it is OK.. Happens a lot" Thank you so much to the entire team and everyone that had a hand in my soul mates Richard's care those days. And you can be rest assured I will take it from here!
