Dr. Parent is on medical probation with the La. State medical board and has been since 2006 for drug related issues, he is required to attened a weekly drug abuse program and must call in daily for drug screens. Dr. Parent has been in several rehabs and also kicked out of several rehabs for failure to remain sober while still practicing.
