Dr. Michael Christensen, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Christensen received his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame, and his medical training at the University of Monterrey and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. After his internship, residency, and chief residency at Mount Sinai Hospital Services at Elmhurst City Hospital Queens, he stayed on in a faculty position in the Primary Care Residency Program. He was also appointed Medical Director of the hospital's diagnostic clinic, where care was provided to hundreds of patients daily from one of the most diverse communities in New York City.
