Dr. Myrna Bobet, MD

I know Dr. Bobet for a long time and she is a straight shooter. If you are drug seeking don't waste your time because she is not a pill doctor. She is always on time with me, she cannot afford to be late because she has 15min med checks, if you want more time go to a psychologist which cannot prescribed you. I am writing this review in response to the appalling treatment I was given, and find it in her future patients' best interest that they have the information available to decide whether she should treat them or not. Dr. Bobet is inconveniently and consistently late, while expecting her patients to be exactly on time. I have been with mood swings for years and never after seeing a dozen of doctors was explained about my condition until I saw Dr. Bobet, she not only explained to me, she also gave me the right medication and I'm doing much better. After reading some off the reviews, I was concerned but she explained to me that she is faculty at FSU and always have some medstudents shadow her during some patients. I will absolutely recommend her!

I found Dr. Bobet to be knowledgeable but completely lacking in empathy. I felt like a lab rat being weighed and stared at by an unidentified student that was using my private information for her studies. The positioning of the client chair in the corner feels especially odd and demeaning. I dread going there and feel worse when I leave. I went to see her got an appointment the day prior. Have see other psychiatrist in the past, she took time to explained my diagnosis and my treatment. One of her med students did a diagnostic scale as well. I recommend her without a doubt! Thanks a lot Dr. Bobet!

I found sitting in a corner chair BEHIND my caregiver unprofessional and demeaning. Also in the room was an unintroduced observer. My opinion of her is she is brusque and rude.
