Dr. Radhika Kakarla, MD

My first experience giving birth was not a pleasant one, but for my second child Dr. Kakarla was in the delivery room. What a difference a good doctor makes! I switched gynecologists right after because I love her so much. She understands women's needs and is decisive, listens to what I have to say, and isn't condescending (which I have experienced from doctors quite a bit at this point). She is fantastic.

I had a vaginal hysterectomy by Dr. Kakarla in 2002. I found out 2 years later and after a lot of problems that she had left in 12 permanent stitches in the vaginal wall. The stitches had grown into the vaginal wall and were abscessed. As a result I had to have major surgery to remove part of my vagina. It was very painful and it is 2011 and I continue to have problems. DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. You will be sorry.
