Although he had seen our child on numerous other occasions, inpatient and otherwise, he never knew anything about her when he walked in for visits and couldn't be bothered to read her chart. He was rude, arrogant, and frankly, incompetent after we compared him to pediatric surgeons at highly regarded hospitals out of state. We ended up flying across country to an excellent Children's Hospital where we had a wonderful, competent surgeon for our child.
