I have to say, I have recommended Dr. Cisneros to all my friends as she was awesome with my first pregnancy. There were a few hiccups with the office staff, but that was manageable. This time around though, it has been a different story. From the get go of this 3rd pregnancy, there seemed to always be this thought that she thought something was wrong with the baby...maybe in the tubes or possibly twins. The baby ended up being fine. Fast forward to blood work and I got the results that the baby is showing positive for Edwards Syndrome. She explained to me what that was but kept explaining how scary it was. I was a wreck. She advised that if my husband had any questions for him to call her and she will step out of any appointment. Well, that wasn't the case. He called first thing in the morning and didn't get a call back for 6 hours. After more testing, we found out through a DNA test of the baby that the baby is fine. We were not finding out the sex of the baby this time around, but she said on the phone "and baby is a boy". I told her we weren't going to find out. She didn't apologize or anything. Fast forward to my appointment this week. She went over the genetics test and ultra sound and then said "and we know what baby is?" I replied with "yes, you told us even though we didn't want to know". She just smiled. I don't understand how you cannot apologize for that. We have gone back and forth about the hospital that I will deliver at. I will not deliver at North Suburban because I have had numerous bad experiences there. She then told me that she is no longer delivering at St. Anthony's North because she doesn't feel it is a safe environment and will need to find a new doctor. With all of this, the office staff is just not easy to work with. They make you sign up for payment plans even though you haven't delivered your baby yet. I have told them our insurance will be changing come the new year so we will wait. The office manager told me that whatever the amount is due after delivery must be paid within 30 days and they will not work with me on payments. I have never seen or heard of this before. We have had 2 other children and have always made payments or paid in full right around delivery. She advised me that I had issues paying her the last time which is a false statement. We did the payments before we had our son the last time and when I advised this to her, she didn't respond. I also have been asked to come to earlier appointments. When I have agreed, they will still not see me until my actual starting time of the appointment I first had. It wastes time and who wants to sit at the doctors longer than they need to? They have notes in the front of the office about being kind and saying please and thank you. However, they will not apologize nor will they admit they are wrong. I honestly feel like I was a business transaction and all that matters is money. Unfortunately, I will never go back here as I do not believe this is how you should treat your customers. Sure, you work for money, but regardless, you will always get the money in the end. Customers though, you won't get to keep them if this is how you a constantly treating people.
