Dr. Appleman is the perfect combination: really knows his stuff (MD, PhD, taught at Harvard) AND is incredibly caring, dedicated, and a great listener. When I had a health crisis, he was on vacation but called me immediately and also called my wife, to reassure us, and then met with us for over 90 minutes the day he got back. Great, great doctor.
