A Hard Man to Deal With

Goldberg is young, highly confident, and arrogant. He lacks the capacity to communicate clearly and effectively, based on my experiences. He lacks collaborative skills. He berated me for supposedly not rehabbing as I should. He viciously pommeled my swollen hip and broke open a sac of fluid-without explaining what was going, what had caused the problem, and what the consequences would be. 17 months after surgery, I am in pain and often cannot walk without crutches. After the post-op where he burst the sac, he would not meet with me; he sent his PA.

    Best Hip Surgeon in Austin

All appointments were on time with maybe 10 min wait. All staff was professional and courteous from front desk to medical staff, to radiologist to checkout. Surgery - Dr. G insisted in an overnight stay at the hospital. Glad he did. Anesthesia recovery was a nauseous experience. Dr. G visited me twice while I was in the hospital - he truly cares about his patients. Post Surgery - I'm 32 days post surgery as of this writing. My recovery is quick (hip impingement surgery). At 2 days, I was off narcotics. At 5 days I was off Tylenol. At 2 weeks my crutches were discontinued. Today I experience minimal to moderate pain when lifting my foot or walking for a longer period of distance than I should. However, each day I am getting stronger and my pain is less today than prior to my surgery. Dr. G is a great surgeon. He's very knowledgeable and professional and surrounds himself with first-rate people. I would highly recommend him.
