He received his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook and completed an internship at NYU Downtown Hospital. Dr. Dawson completed both his residency in neurology and a two-year fellowship in epilepsy and neurophysiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Dawson is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society. His interests include EEG, video EEG, intracranial EEG, corticography, evoked potentials, vagus nerve stimulation, and intraoperative monitoring.
