I was referred to Dr. Vaitla by my "regular" dermatologist when she no longer felt capable of helping me with a 6+ yr. long problem. Dr. Vaitla was working at a teaching hospital in the Chicago area & tried a number of things that hadn't been attempted before. She also knew of a widely known expert in the field of itch out east & worked tirelessly to see to it that I get in to see him. Because of her thorough efforts on my behalf, he has agreed to see me on Sept. 30th in spite of not normally accepting new patients. It was, he said, because she had so thoroughly presented my case to him. Whether he is able to help me or not, I will be forever grateful to her for trying so hard to help me when I see this as my last resort. Dr. Vaitla is the greatest!
