My mother was rushed to the hospital on May 6 to have her trach replaced. Dr Campione was called in, he was extremley rude towards myself, by brother and my mother. He seemed very rushed, rude, disrespectful like he didn't want to be there. In fact he basically told us that. He never wrote up any discharge, admission, or after care instructions. 2 Days later my mother became very sick and no one could figure out why. May 10 my mothers nursing home removes the stitches from around the trach and find a piece of surgical gauze embedded under the trach into her skin! Maybe if he wasn't so rushed he wouldn't of made an almost deadly mistake! horrible bed side manor! Be Aware of this Dr he has no compassion, no bed side manor and will treat you and your loved ones like and assembly line. Stay Away!!!!! FYI my mother is still not back to herself and probably never will be.
