overall good experience with Dr Lowenstein..Takes good care of his patients.
Would highly recommend him to others in need of a pain management doctor. Takes a great deal of time to listen to his patients as does his physician assistant.

Doctor who listens and cares
Doctor Lowenstein takes time with me in the appointment. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. Even if my questions come from something I heard from friends about possible side effects or possible treatment plans. I have been with Dr. Lowenstein for many years and hope he never retires.

Excellent Doctor and Staff
I had no diagnose for my severe pain for about 4 years. Nothing that the other doctors would do for me or try, would help at all. At my 1st visit with Dr. Lowenstein, he told me what he thought was wrong and started with medication and patches that gave me some relief that very day. My condition is not going to totally go away, but he has provided me with a diagnosis and the medication that allows me to have a much better quality of daily life than I had prior to coming to see him.

Great doctor
Dr. Lowenstein is a great doctor takes really good care of me. He spends enough time with me and is never in a rush. He is a great person overall very understanding. Understands his patients and knows that living in pain is quite difficult. His staff is great, they get the job done in a timely manner. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

Best Pain Management Doctors around
My Experience has been extremely pleasant. The wait times were short 90% of the time. Dr. Lowenstein, P.A. Russell Sanders were great and his staff has been courteous throughout.
With their help I have gotten my pain managed to a point were I can function and perform day to day tasks with relative ease. I was able to wean off strong narcotic pain medications without any withdraw symptoms which I am very thankful for.
In all this office is great and I would greatly recommend Dr. Lowenstein.

could not function without this doctors help
I have been a patient of Dr. Lowenstein for years. After 5 spine surgeries I ended up coming to Dr. Lowenstein for pain management. I would never change, this Dr. listens to my concerns, spends time with me and I never feel rushed. Dr. Lowenstein does not just prescribe pain medicine, he and his team provide total care. Dr Michael Lowenstein, an extremely experienced, knowledgeable, caring, informative, concerned, funny and friendly Professional!
I have been Dr Lowenstein's loyal patient for over 17 years since he began practice in Newport Beach, following him to his present local in Santa Ana.
This astounding Dr. saved my life from a malfunctioning implanted pump in my abdomen. With the aide of the OC-Police and Fire Depts, Dr. was able to locate me, send me to the E. R. where he met me, reset the pump to NORMAL settings and all is well! My point, I would trust this incredible Dr. with my LIFE!

Dr. Lowenstein Is The Best
I have been coming to Dr Lowenstein's office for six years. Dr Lowenstein saved my life with the right medications which had helped me to continue working another four years. He has a wonderful bedside manner with me as a patient. His staff is great. They are all very accomidating, if I need to change my appointment & work around the time I needed to go out of town, they made it work. I think he really cares about his patients, not only on a medical point, but on their personal life as well.

Kind and Thoughtful
Being an ongoing pain management patient, I highly recommend Dr. Michael Lowenstein. He will take his time and listen to you. His treatment plan is very thorough. He explains why he is treating you and will recommend other services if they are needed. His injections are very accurate and helpful. He is one of the best pain management Doctors that I have been to.
