Active against Allergies
Dr. Vassallo spent as much time as needed, explaining allergies and reviewing a comprehensive plan to rid those signs and symptoms. Less than a month, I am still working this plan, able to plan for more of an an allergy free future. Being given accurate information and answers with a thorough plan is a gift. He also picked up a hearing loss. Thank you, Dr. Vassallo.

From the moment I set foot in, I was greeted by the friendly receptionists at the desk and was seen on time for my appointment—a rare occurrence with most doctor visits! Kevin, the nurse who administered my first-ever skin prick allergy testing, was incredibly kind and compassionate while he explained the process. Once I met with Dr. Vassallo, I was surprised at how empathetic and engaged he was in listening to my symptoms. Not only did he provide comprehensive explanations of my allergies, he provided solutions that I could proactively begin once I left the office. Checking out was quick and simple with the friendly receptionists; overall, I am very happy to have seen Dr. Vassallo and his team—you guys have set the bar for me!

I finally felt like there was hope in getting my allergies under control!
Dr. Vassallo was absolutely wonderful today! He was thorough with my visit and took his time to explain to me all that was going on with my allergies. I was recommended to try his office by another patient of his who is a friend of mine, and I am so glad I decided to try him out. I transferred from a different allergist where I had a unpleasant experience for many months and in a way this was my last hope to try and get my allergies under control. To put it lightly, this was a breath of fresh air. From the minute I walked in, the office staff was friendly and worried about my confidentiality and brought me in the back to check me in as a first time patient. I also especially appreciated how while I was undergoing the super uncomfortable allergy skin test, Dr Vasallo distracted me by going over my chart instead of making me wait in agony. He had great bedside manner and was very professional. I look forward to finally kicking these allergies with a doctor that I can seem to trust.

Years of great care
I had chronic ENT infections due to severe allergies for years and years before my PCP suggested it could be allergies. Dr. Vassallo turned that all around with a spot-on diagnosis and the right brew for my allergy shots. Now I can't even remember the last time I had an ENT infection. I just wish I'd found him sooner!!

No exaggeration, it was mind blowing and hopefully life altering
I got used to suffering with my symptoms and I was shocked to discover how allergic I am. I felt horrible that it took me this long to an allergist. Dr. Vassallo’s thorough explanation clicked with all the symptoms I have been experiencing and I’m excited by the treatment plan. Fingers crossed!!!

Dr. Vassallo, is a great and confident doctor. He makes sure you understand what he is doing as well as the treat that is needed to get you to a better place with your allergies. I would recommend this doctor to everyone. Love love the way he practice and teaches you about allergies!!!

Caring, concerned and attentive.
Dr. Vassallo and his staff are truly awesome They are patient, attentive and make sure that your visit runs as smoothly as the process for checking in. They answer questions and the office manager is always available to assist. The nurses and medical assistants are a pleasure. Amicable personalities overall. But must importantly the staff is compassionate. Dr. Vassallo is passionate about his specialty. He is knowledgeable with excellent bedside manner and patient rapport. I recommend him and the Brooklyn Heights office to everyone.

Dr. Vassallo was open to listening and I appreciate that. He’s excellent in his profession and shared a bit about himself in our conversation. Communication is the key to any interaction.
