Overview

Dr. Bansal received her Bachelor’s degree from The University of British Columbia, and then completed a graduate program in Ophthalmic Medical Technology & Orthoptics at the University of Florida. She then worked as a Clinical Instructor and Research Coordinator in several glaucoma clinical studies at the Department of Ophthalmology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Bansal then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She received further training in rotations at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, the Veterans Administration Medical Centre in Lake City, FL, as well as two additional eyecare facilities focusing on refractive surgery, pediatrics and low vision. Since graduating, Dr. Bansal has worked in various clinical settings all over the western U.S., primarily specializing in the medical management of ocular disease. She has also authored and co-authored papers on various research topics in optometry and ophthalmology. Dr. Bansal is a licensed Optometric Physician in the state of Washington. Her training and experience allow her to diagnose, treat, and manage all eye conditions. Dr. Bansal has extensive experience in providing comprehensive vision examinations, contact lenses evaluations, therapeutic eye care, pediatric eye care, low vision consultations for the visually impaired, and medical management and referral services for various ocular conditions and surgical care. To ensure her patients receive the care they require, she also works closely with medical doctors in family practice, neurology, rheumatology, and internal medicine. Dr. Bansal is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometric Physicians of Washington, and the King County Optometric Association. She is highly skilled, compassionate and is committed to providing every patient with the highest quality of care and treatment. She is now accepting new patients.
