Overview
Dr. Machado is a board-certified Oncologist and Hematologist with more than 10 years of experience. He prides himself on keeping up with the most advanced and cost effective therapies for cancer treatment. He is an advocate for the early management of discomfort and pain for cancer patients. Although chemotherapy is still frequently employed, he is excited to share new targeted and immunotherapy options with patients. Dr. Machado earned his medical degree with honors at Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean and undertook his residency training at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where he was named Chief Resident.
