Dr. Kainth clearly explained my condition and successfully performed by surgery
I suffered from a severely herniated disc at L4 / L5. Dr. Kainth walked me through by MRI results and explained the lumbar discectomy surgery. I am currently going through recovery and progressing as expected. Dr. Kainth came highly referred and I am confident in his practice.

Zero neck pain post C3-C4 fusion for cervical stenosis.
Dr. Kainth is very knowledgeable and I trust him with my diagnosis and subsequent treatment. I am very glad that I had a recommendation from my son (who was treated at this facility) to come to Woodlands Sports Medical Center.

Entire staff was extremely responsive and trustworthy.

Awesome Staff and Great Experience -
Dr Kainth and his staff are professional, polite and fantastic to work with. They answered all of my questions and worked to fit me in during the busy holiday season. Dr Kainth explained exactly what I could expect and it was exactly what I experienced. Truth be told, the results were even better. In every aspect of my care it was obvious that not only Dr Kainth placed a premium on patient care, but all aspects of The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre did as well. I run a services organization for a living and I can tell you this level of service does not happen without commitment from everyone in the organization. Well done!!

Dr. Kainth is an excellent doctor that listens to your medical concerns and reassure that your surgery will in most cases be successful. I would recommend him to anyone. He tries less invasive procedures before recommending my major back surgery.

Dr. Kainth is wonderful!
Dr. Kainth was wonderful in diagnosing the problem and explaining what would need to be done to fix it. My experience began with Dr, Kainth a couple of years ago when he did my husband's fusion. Like the previous experience, he diagnosed the problem accurately, wonderful listening skills, and both times did not feel rushed by him. My husband was totally healed and I have no doubt that this recent surgery he performed on me will be successful in correcting my problem.

New life since surgery
Dr. Kainth performed an indirect decompression spinal surgery to address my spinal stenosis. The Vertiflex Superion system was used. The procedure took about an hour in the outpatient surgery center. Within a few days, I was walking with no back or leg pain. I went from sleeping for 2 hours a night to 9 hours a night without pain. I am walking up and down stairs without pain after three weeks. Prior to surgery, I had to use a walker to get around the house and was unable to lift either leg to step down from or up on a curb. Getting in or out of a chair was a challenge. I am now able to perform most all functions of daily life without pain or effort. Dr. Kainth listened to all of my symptoms and the list of interventions that had been tried before visiting with him. He and his staff worked with me tirelessly to get my insurance to approve the surgery. The staff has been wonderful! I am a new person and have such hope for a future without pain!

I highly recommend Dr. Koijan Kainth!
Dr Kainth is an excellent physician. I highly recommend him. The other outstanding situation is his Medical Assistant Danyeil Hoy is AMAZING!!!! I am 73 years old and have been to many physicians, especially in the past 5 years, and I have never encountered a Medical Assistant so pleasant, so helpful, so organized !! On top of that she is glad to do so!!!! I wish she could go around and train every Medical Assistant that the Woodlands Sport Medicine Centre!!!! I have left good physicians before over their lack of training their staff that works under them. Physicians should understand how important it is to have especially a Medical Assistant that takes care of the patients.

Great place, The Woodlands Sport Center and great doctor, Dr. Kainth
Years back Dr. Kainth did surgery on my neck and did a great job on it. So I trusted him and his staff with my back surgery. Within hours the pain at my hips and the pain at leg side going down to the knees were completely gone. With three weeks the pain in back are a went to a 4 from a 9.I took it easy but still function normally doing my sewing, cooking and taking care of the easy daily things.

First Class Neurosurgeon and staff
I am 5 months post ACDF and lamenectomy. I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my surgery. Dr. Kainth is compassionate, knowledgeable and overall a top-notch neurosurgeon. Additionally, each and everyone of his staff is professional and courteous. Renae Walker, Dr. Kainth's billing specialist worked with me and kept me apprised of any insurance/billing questions. I received a refund today and she made sure my check was ready prior to my appointment. Oh happy day!
