Excellent Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Blackburn is an excellent surgeon. I had a total reverse left shoulder replacement. He spent the time to go over all aspects of the surgery. He listens to your questions and is very patient in answering all of them. The surgery went perfect, with little pain. He spends plenty of time on follow-up visits. Dr. Blackburn coordinated my physical therapy with the therapist. He was always up to date on follow-up visits. He is very personable and professional. I would highly recommend him.

My surgeries were completely successful.
Dr. Blackburn did surgery on both my arms, with the release of contractions to both hands. I have been unable to straighten out my fingers for many years. I'm very pleased with the results of my surgeries. He explained every step of the procedures thoroughly and answered all questions I was comfortable and new what to expect in the out come. He is very professional, and willing to spend time with you. I would recommend him to anyone requiring surgery.

The best care a person can have
Dr Blackburn looked at my hands and ordered blood work. So glad he had because I had a condition that I was not aware of. I was referred to a rheumatologist and because of that my hands improved and he advised me on the surgery for carpal tunnel.
Surgery went well and I was so impressed by him.

Perfectly perfect!
After an injury in Florida, I returned to my home in Maine. Dr. Blackburn stuck with me through my recovery via virtual appointments as well as if I were in his office. I could not have been more pleased with Dr. Blackburn and his staff. He and Myra provided me with excellent care which I greatly appreciate.

Excellent! Dr Blackburn showed me and explained the MRI like no doctor ever has. He listened, summarized my issues, explained various protocols and a I was involved in deciding the treatment.nt.
Excellent! Dr Blackburn listened to me, examined my arm, summarized my issues, outlined various protocols, involved me in the treatment plan. Another appointment was not scheduled, treatment began immediately. I left the office in less than 45 minutes with all 4 parts of the 4 part plan already in motion. Very impressed with Dr Blackburn. I felt comfortable and confident in OUR plan. A GREAT experience.

Wonderful, and very satisfied
I severely damaged my finger while visiting my son in PA. back in 2018. I called for an appointment and was scheduled with Dr. Blackburn. My first visit he examined my finger and told me I might lose the tip of the finger but he will do his best. He did the surgery but couldn't save the finger tip. He made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Omg he did a fantastic job. Thank you so much Dr. Blackburn. May you continue to strike in your practice.
