Pedro Ramos, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. His quality improvement project focuses on the transition from infusion to subcutaneous insulin. Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Ramos was a hospitalist for St. Judes Hospital. Dr. Ramos completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida, College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.
