Overview

A Virginia native, Dr. Sanderlin has spent most of career in his home state, beginning with earning his undergraduate degree in Biology from James Madison University. He completed his Doctor of Medicine program, internship, and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Following this, he was fellowship-trained at Virginia Interventional Spine Physicians.After his fellowship, Dr. Sanderlin worked in practices in Richmond, North Carolina, and Hampton Roads. Additionally, he has served as a contributor to the Rehab in Review Newsletter, and has lectured and presented research to various departments at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is the author of multiple book chapters and journal articles.Dr. Sanderlin, his wife Kate, and his son Henry live in Norfolk. Outside of work he enjoys running, golf, and spending time with his family.Dr. Sanderlin joined AOS as a non-surgical, pain management physician.
