Overview
Reva K Basho, MD specializes in the treatment of breast cancer. Alongside clinical care, she conducts breast cancer research and is the Co-Director of the Women's Cancer Research Program at Cedars-Sinai. Her research focuses on the treatment of high-risk breast cancers and development of novel targeted therapies. Dr. Basho has given multiple lectures to academic audiences on topics pertinent to the treatment of breast cancer. Her research has been funded by multiple sources including the Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Dr. Basho's work has also been published in high-impact journals including JAMA Oncology, among others. Dr. Basho earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She completed her hematology and oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology.
