Following his undergraduate work, Dr. Ostrander continued his education at Boston University School of Medicine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Medicine and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He went on to complete a Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and a Musculoskeletal Research Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Ostrander completed his formal education with a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute under the tutelage of renowned orthopaedic surgeons Drs. James Andrews and William Clancy. The Fellowship provided Dr. Ostrander with an immersive experience in operative and non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in professional and collegiate athletes. His team physician experience included coverage of Auburn University football and athletics, Birmingham Barons AA baseball, and Tampa Bay Rays spring training.
