Overview
Sarah Elliott, MD earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut. There she completed the Urban Service Track with a focus on original research and community service. She went on to complete OB/GYN residency training at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. While there, she was honored with awards for her work on minimally invasive surgery and Excellence in Patient Care. She served on multiple committees concerned with improving the quality of patient care and safety. Dr. Elliott became interested in OB/GYN starting at 16 years old, after volunteering at a Labor and Delivery unit. She is most proud of helping to reduce the primary Cesarean section rate at her home hospital. Special Interests Dr. Elliott'sprofessional focus is in adolescent gynecology, the initial management of infertility, supporting mothers through their pregnancy and birth experience and preventive medicine with an interest in natural/holistic approaches.
