Dr. Ellison graduated from East Carolina School of Medicine and completed her Residency in Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She also earned a BA in Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill and a BS in Biology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University. Dr. Ellison is Board Certified in Psychiatry as a Diplomate of the America Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Ellison’s treatment uses evidenced based medicine, compassionate listening, a solution-focused approach, and collaboration with other physical health and behavioral health providers to reach improved behavioral health for her patients.
