Went as good as it could've!
I experienced a ruptured achilles which is easily the most serious injury of my life. Dr. Pearce was very thorough in helping explain the process all the way through and I had 0 issues post-surgery.
Would definitely recommend him!

could not be happier!
I sustained a serious knee injury while snow skiing. Dr. Pearce identified the issues that needed to be addressed (ACL reconstruction) and successfully repaired all issues. I am 100% satisfied with Dr. Pearce and his staff!

Knee replacement
Second knee replacement with Dr Pearce and this one is doing as well as the first. I would highly recommend Dr Pearce for any orthopedic work. I have had hip revision, carpel tunnel and two knees done and am very satisfied.

A bad break fixed perfectly
After a bad break of my tibia and fibula, Doctor Pearce fixed me up surprisingly fast allowing me to get back to things much quicker than I had expected. One of the best medical experiences I've ever had.

Awesome doc!
Dr Stephen Pearce and Austin Bone and Joint (OACT) team have been great to work with dealing with my broken ankle, from the initial consultation and surgery, to check ups and physical therapy. I hope to never have to see Dr. Pearce again, but if I have any future injuries of the bone and joint variety they will be my first call.

happy outcome
After years of limping around with two bad knees, replacing the left knee was a game changer. Recovery was fast and the pain level was very low, compared to the pain I felt before the surgery.

Matching set of partial knee replacements
I have had 8 knee surgeries (4 each), 1 shoulder and 1 back surgery after playing competitive baseball for 14 years not thinking about the consequences. I was blessed to have Dr. Charles Rockwood refer me to Dr. Stephen Pearce. I am honored to be able to share my excellent experience of being able at 55 being able to play golf, ride my bike and walk normal. I could not erase the abuse of years of catching but thanks to Dr. Pearce I able to say I am overjoyed to be a 100% mobile. Thank You!

almost pain free reconstruction
July 27, 2017 had my left shoulder rebuilt. Damage was sever enough that cadaver tissue had to be used to repair what remained of my damaged shoulder.
I was only on Tylenol pain reliever, two days post surgery. Rehabilitation went well and within the recovery time table, about four months, I was able to resume my regular physical activities with full range of motion.
I am a rancher and need physical strength and ability. By this time I was able to unload 3 tons of cattle feed by myself.

A great doctor
Dr. Pearce replaced both of my knees and I haven't had any pain since they were done. I have been coming to Dr. Pearce for a great number of years. I have always been extremely satisfied with his bedside manner. I can always feel comfortable with communicating with whatever orthopedic problems I have had in the years. I am 87 years old and happy to have someone like Dr. Stephen Pearce that can take care of my orthopedic problems.

when it comes down to the care of your bones and joints, I hit the jackpot literally!!!!
Dr Stephen is a remarkable bone and joint specialist his compassion for his patients shows in every aspect of who his is as a specialist. I just recently had shoulder replacement surgery in Dec. 2018 and I know I could not have made it through the process of recovery. (still in process) Without his wonderful smile and great skills. Overall experience with my shoulder surgery has been exceptional given the precision and accuracy of the surgery done by Dr. Pearce, his Pre-Op and Post-Op guidance and getting my right arm back to health over the past two months.
Dr. Pearce has been a trusted adviser since the first day I saw him concerning the rotator cuff soft tissue tear I experienced in 2012. I opted for surgery to rectify this condition that was gradually worsening. The surgery outcome was favorable in many ways. Less use of opioid based medication, timely checkups and sage advice have kept me moving on a safe recovery back to health. I feel better every day and the shoulder continues to show improvement each day, thanks to Dr. Pearce.

Remarkable surgeon and doctor! Highest recommendation.
Dr. Stephen Pearce has been absolutely phenomenal is reconstructing my shattered arm, providing ongoing care including arranging top caliber OT and PT, restoring use of my arm and continuation of life's activities. Few surgeons perform the complete elbow replacement that he gave me in 2017 after a catastrophic fall at school. I have no arm pain and am looking forward to holding my first grandchild.

I can ski again!
Dr. Pearce has been a great partner through my ACL repair. He's been a fantastic listener and answered all my questions through the process. My goal has been to get back on skis and his team has helped me achieve that goal.
I have to add that he was amazing on surgery day. You could tell he was in his element and gave me 100% confidence on a stressful day as a patient.

Excellent care from beginning to end
Dr. Pearce's skilled care and surgery allowed me to be pain free and have great range of motion within 2 months of surgery. He is patient with my inquires and I felt he spent time listening to my concerns.
