On August 22,2016 I was bitten by my own dog. I arrived at Riverview Hospital E.R. at @12:30 in the morning in severe panic and pain due to 33% loss of my upper lip. Dr. Volshteyn was called at @ 1:30AM after my initial triage. The E.R sent him pictures of what my face looked like while I was there. Dr. Volshteyn heroically jumped out of bed and headed to take care of me. He opened the curtain and immediately smiled and told me "you're going to be ok". Finding that hard to believe at the time, I felt a sense of calmness come over me. He explained everything that he was about to do before doing it. His calm, genuine, positive, reassuring demeanor not to mention his "artistry" gave me the strength to get through this horrific event. The before/after photos are too graphic to post. Although there's no going back in time, he restored my lip to the point(without that 33%) where I could feel whole again. There are no words to express how deeply grateful I am to Dr.Volshteyn for answering that phone call so early in the morning. I've been to his office for a follow up visit to remove the stitches. His office staff is amazingly professional and as genuine as he is. Being in Dr.Volshteyn and his staffs care is comparable to being graced by a divine entity. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for getting me through this ordeal with such tender hearts and hands. God Bless you always.
