The doctor always explains medical details in a manner I understand. He has a warm inviting personality. Further, he is the only doctor that I have seen on a regular basis that is always ontime. Truly amazing.

Dr. Cheavlier is an excellent nephrologist!
Dr. Chevalier’s diagnostic skills and treatment plans are spot on! He takes the time to understand your issue and develop a plan designed specifically for you. He is open, respectful and addresses all your concerns. I have recommended him and will continue to do so as he is the epitome of a great physician!

Dr. Chevalier is the best, both nice and smart.
I am on the border between normal renal function and CKD. I also have RA and HTN on 3 anti-hypertensives. He is smart and reassuring. I'm happy to say that he's the king of my blood pressure.

Dr. Chevalier is truly one of the best physicians I have worked with. He takes the time to listen and understand the patient's personal and clinical experience, astutely honing in on the best treatment protocol. His medical acumen combined with his warm, caring personality is rare in this day & age, when unfortunately, physicians have to work quickly and cope with the bureaucratic demands of insurance companies, etc. I would recommend Dr. Chevalier to anyone & only have the utmost respect for him. Outstanding, caring, on-the-ball physicians n straightforward.
My iron numbers were low and he immediately ordered ASAP treatment for me. He works right along with my nephrplogy fellow, so I have 2 nephrology specialists keeping my kidneys working.

Caring & Tusted Physician
I've been seeing him for over 10 years. He listens, he cares and he takes in your concerns, things you've read and sometimes is just a friendly face that you need on a bad day. Even when he has to say a hard truth like "you need to loose weight" its never done casually or unfeeling. I'm very lucky in a cold city like NYC, I have a kind soul who isn't a robot in my doctor.

Excellent service and conversation.
I have been seeing Dr. Chevalier, for some time now, and I always feel welcomed. Dr Chevalier really connects with his patients and has a warm bedside manner. I have met many different doctors, but I have to say he is an amazing doctor who is always upbeat, and does not forget the conversation we last had and that’s what separates him from other doctors and makes him special.
