outstanding professional doctor
Dr BUDORICK, did surgery on my back in2010 from a injury back when I was15 and bucked off a horse. FOR ALL THOSE YEARS INBETWEEN THERE WERE NO treatment except muscle relaxers and pain medicine. When I visited my doctor in JUNE of 2010 he finally said we will x ray it and before he came back to room, he had already spoken to AOS AND WE WENT STRAIGHT to Va Beach office and within 2 weeks had surgery and no pain.

My appointment with Dr. Budorick went well.
When I went to my appointment with Dr. Budorick, I wanted to try physical therapy before deciding whether or not to have surgery. He got that set up for me and also got me in touch with someone who could help with pain management. I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Budorick because I know two people who had great results from the surgery Dr. Budorick performed on them. When I decide to have surgery, I will definitely go with him.

It was very refreshing to have a specialist come with the honest truth. Things could’ve been ordered that I didn’t need to benefit the practice and I would’ve been none the wiser. I was offered thorough explanations but most importantly I was offered encouragement regarding my medical diagnosis. I left happy & feeling secure.

Thorough and investigative.
Dr. Budorick is dealing with my complex spine and neck pain and has been working on figuring out the source for many months. He is now ordering 2 spinal and thoracic MRI's to rule out other possibilities, and then he'll formulate a plan or send me to pain management.

Knee Pain from being struck by baseball
I was seen promptly which was aurprising considering my apointment was at 3:15 (based on experience with other providers).
I have x-rays taken in the office, then Dr. Budorick visited, listened to how the injury occurred, the duration and nature of pain i was experiencing and effect it was having on my daily life. He recommended a range of treatments, answered my questions about each. He was particularly helpful in recommending medications that did not conflict with the blood thinning medication I am taking due to a previous stroke. He recommended a Cortisone shot, rest and icing to alleviate swelling, relieve pain and returning to exercising gradually. Two days later, there is a reduction in pain, increase in range of motion and reduction in swelling. i am very encourged by my progress and look forward to getting back in the gym. I had a previous surgery with Dr. Carofino and excellent experience with the Chesapeake office so when I had a neck/spine injury I knew I wanted to return to Atlantic Orthopedics. I was very lucky to get a quick appointment with Doctor Budorick only 3 days after my injury. He was very friendly, thorough and professional. The staff at his VA Beach office was very friendly, patient, and helpful. Even though I have to travel quite a distance to this office and there may be other providers closer to me, I am glad I chose to continue as a patient with Atlantic Orthopedics.
