I had zero use and now 90%+ in 3 months and improving everyday with zero pain.
Dr was very detailed and explained what to expect. Everything went 100 % as expected and recover couldn't been any better. I highly recommend Dr. Capito with shoulder surgery and have to everyone I know, Actually, I was driving a tractor a week later.

Extremely pleased
Dr, Capito clearly described the process and the post-operative physical therapy went extremely well. Home exercise was very helpful to supplement the physical therapy.
Patient extremely pleased with the outcome with almost complete range of motion.

My experience with Dr. Capito was nothing less than excellent. He listens well to his patients, explains his plan of care so that the patient understands. I feel 100% better after my surgery.I could not have had a better surgical team. Dr. Capito is the best, anyone will be lucky to have him.

Dr. Capito listened to my complaints and offered treatment I was comfortable with. The surgery went as expected with minimal pain post-op. Dr. Capito is a physician who seems to genuinely care about his patients.

I was a little unsure at first, Dr. Capito explained surgery process in a way that I understood and that gave me hope for a full recovery after the surgery.. Glad that I had the surgery and I'm on the road to full recovery. I have full range of motion in my shoulder and that's what was important to me. Dr. Capito did a excellent job on my shoulder and I would highly recommend him.

Awesome
Dr. Capito performed a tendon transfer on my left shoulder. I had never heard of this procedure until then but learned quickly as that was my only real option. The procedure was an amazing success. Coupled with some hard work at the physical therapist my left shoulder is now fully functional again.

Outstanding!
Dislocated my L shoulder five months prior to surgery. Due to insurance hold-up, new policy Jan 1, Thanksgiving & Christmas, unable to have replacement until late March. All this time I was unable to reach out or raise the arm. Was referred to Dr. Capito by a PA who was with the surgeon who took me to OR to reduce my shoulder; was told my shoulder would need to have a reverse replacement & that physician did not do them. Having had two prior rotator cuff repairs on that side, I was close to terrified whether or not I would have any function left at all. Knowing Dr Capito is board-certified in Shoulder & Elbow was a huge plus to me; and also the fact the PA who saw me after dislocation stated she'd send her Mother to him! Gave me great confidence. Surgery was March 29, 2021, and far easier than RC repair; excellent pain control post op and not needed for long. Now I can hold my hairdryer out by my head to dry my hair! He's the ONLY physician for shoulders! Great experience!

From a shattered upper arm bone to total repair and use of my arm

Dr Capito repaired my rotator cuff. Recovery was quick and relatively low pain contrary to what I had been told to expect. Now have full strength and range of motion. PT was amazed at quick recovery.
