The doc really educated me on the shoulder transplant by explaining how everything would go start to finish. He made me feel better about having it done.

Excellent care
I have been under Dr. Capito care for around 3 years. He has given me the gift of restoring my Arm and Shoulder. He is outstanding in his Professional knowledge and Servant Leader manner of care. He is empathetic, patient and also possesses a World Class education. He reflects great credit upon the Medical Profession, Augusta Orthopedics/Sports Medicine and himself. I cannot begin to than Dr. Capito for the care and quality improvement he has provided for me.

Dedicated, experienced, and personable
Dr Capito did what noone else thought was possible. After a Burn accident, and over a year long of no movement I was able to finally get movement back to my arm. He was my last hope. Noone thought it would be possible.

I wish I had been seen by Dr Capito to begin with!
Once I was referred to Dr Capito, a MONTH after my injury occurred, immediate steps were taken to address my very rare, extremely painful, (previously overlooked) diagnosis. He made sure that the I was scheduled for surgery as quickly as possible and has been awesome in follow up.
