Dr. Thongdy completed her psychiatry residency training at Albany Medical Center in New York in 2010, launching a career that has taken her across some of the most demanding and meaningful clinical environments imaginable. She has served patients in both inpatient and outpatient state mental health facilities, as well as at Nellis Air Force Base and the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, caring for community members, active duty service members, and veterans carrying the weight of depression, anxiety, panic disorder, and PTSD.

Those years of service gave her a clear-eyed understanding of what medications alone cannot do. Watching her patients struggle for years without finding lasting relief led her to seek something more, ultimately guiding her to Serenity, where the values she built her practice around are shared by everyone in the building.

Dr. Thongdy's approach is rooted in holistic care, with a focus on finding solutions rather than simply treating symptoms. She is mindful that there seems to be a pill for nearly everything, but she understands there is no quick fix when it comes to genuine healing. Her goal is to offer treatment options that are safe, effective, and built for the long term.
