Incredible bedside manner
Dr. Kokko came highly recommended and was the best choice for me! His care was exceptional, he really listened to my concerns, and put my mind at ease. Dr. Kokko explained everything in detail and left nothing out. I have had no issues since surgery and could not be more grateful to him and his staff. Thank you!

Exceptionally good
Kyle and has staff are wonderful. He respects your time and sees you as scheduled. Kyle is a great listener and communicator. He gives you his attention as long as needed and is never rushing to get to another patient. Great diagnostic and surgical skills. Personally pleasant with a great sense of humor. Highly recommended

Wrist Fracture
Dr. Kokko treated me for a wrist fracture. I have had great results!! He really took time to evaluate all treatment possibilities, reviewed my X-rays with me, and then helped me come up with the best plan based on the pros and cons. He has a great bedside manner, is very kind, and really cares about his patients. His PA, Ann, is amazing too! She and Dr. Kokko make an incredible team. I would highly recommend this group.

Exemplary physician. Always values input from me as a patient and makes sure that I have a clear understanding of my path of care.
Dr. Kokko is always quick to listen to me as a patient. I feel that my input is valued and that I'm heard when discussing my needs for being at the office. I've been a patient of his for five years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wonderful Experience
From the time you first meet Dr Kokko, you’ll feel comfortable, relaxed and know you’re in very good hands.
I had ongoing pain in my elbow for many months. After being treated by Dr. Kokko, the pain went away and has not come back. I highly recommend him over any other specialist, he’s truly gifted and presents a very kind demeanor.

Child - broken finger
Dr. Kokko was great with my 8 year old daughter! State of the art medical equipment, quick accurate diagnosis, and spoke to her in terms she understood. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have both been patients and have had surgery with Dr. Koko. We both love his work and bedside manner. We have waited patiently for his new practice to open so that my husband could be seen by Dr. Koko for a necessary surgery that will be done on his hand in the near future.

I was thoroughly pleased with Dr. Kokko and his entire team
I had a great experience with Dr. Kokko. He took time to go over options and allowed me to make the final decision. I am grateful that he as assigned to me regarding this medical situation. He listens to me and doesn't try to shrug me off. I hope he will remain on staff here (VAMC) for a long time. I appreciate the entire surgical team from check-in to check-out. Especially how they treated my mother and father. Everyone was cordial, informative and made me laugh to calm me before the surgery. It was cool to have an all-girl team with the exception of Dr. Kokko. Bravo to you all. PS. Dr. Harmon was helpful too.

Superb doc
Saw Dr Kokko for a "trigger finger." He saw me immediately within a day of the issue. My finger healed perfectly. He is kind, thoughtful and most importantly very thorough and knowledgeable. Our children had injuries that required orthopedic intervention. Excellent guy and fantastic physician.

Excellent physician with great bedside manner
I saw Dr. Kokko when I was playing football in high school. I had experienced two separate fractures. He successfully casted both and together we developed a safe but effective plan for me to continue to play. I was able to finish out my career and ultimately end up at the University of Florida playing football. My hand and wrist healed perfectly. Dr Kokko is extremely personable and amazing orthopedic surgeon. "Hands down" the best ortho in Charleston area.

Dr. Kokko and his team have treated me with the upmost respect and have treated me well beyone what I could ask for. When this first happen and I had to come in for the emergency operations they were right there and hi PA Kiven Harman gave me his direct phone number speaks volumes.

Outstanding Dr. and Trust worthy
My experience with Dr. Kokko has been nothing less than outstanding. I have 100% trust in his diagnosis and recommendations. I have had six surgeries. Two of them by Dr. Kokko and Dr. Kokko is by far the one Dr. I would trust and recommend.
