Results speak for themselves!
After a ruptured Achilles that Dr Johnson said was one of the worst he had ever seen I was back up and walking in no time. He helped me through the process with any information i needed to be successful and also did an amazing job with the surgery.
Associates in orthopedics is always my first choice when it comes to specialists. I would recommend them to anyone who needs surgery or a specialist.

Enjoyed having a private room at Merrimack Valley Hospital after having my knee replaced
Felt comforted by Dr Johnson coming to visit the hospital after surgery for continued care. The hospital staff was dynamite which made the process easier.

total knee replacement
Dr J did my left knee total replacement after years of pain and discomfort. Since having the surgery, 5 weeks tomorrow, walking is almost pain free, sitting and bending the knee with no pain at all! I cannot believe how far i have come with this surgery. This has been the best decision i have made for myself. Heres to living the best life with my kids and being pain free!!

"Dr Johnson is my Hero"
I needed an Right hip replacement that turned out to be much more involved than anticipated and Dr Johnson did a fantastic job and I feel amazing and recovering beautifully.

Less pain than my other knee replacement by another Doctor.
Coming from out of state and needed a doctor to do my knee replacement due to new insurance. Office staff and hospital staff at LGH on the 4th floor were excellent.

Going anywhere else is a waste of time
I know more now than I did with a previous doctor. Gave such a clear explanation. Bed side manner is amazing. No need for a second opinion, come here first.

Back to day to day activities after my ankle surgery
I broke my ankle and the office was able to fit me in the next day and scheduled the surgery ASAP.

walking is easy, not so much before
no problems in 6 post surgery years.

The limp and pain is gone. I don't even think about my hip anymore since it was replaced.
I had a quick recovery. Back to my normal life again. I am able to chase my kids around again and can even ride a bike. I wish I had done it sooner.

Healed Really Fast! (Rapido)

No opioids needed post surgery to moderate pain.

surgery went extremely well
Dr Johnson is a great surgeon, however his people skills lack sensitivity. The appointments feel rushed, therefore not the best listener.

Very happy with surgery and results
I think I had unrealistic expectations about the pain and recovery time. After talking with my physical therapist, I'm doing great but I thought it would be faster.

I no longer have pain in either knee
I only took one pain pill for my first knee replacement and no pain medication for the second knee replacement. The pain after surgery was less than I had before surgery. My robotic knee healed faster than I expected. Holy Family provided a boot camp prior to surgery and helped better prepare me for surgery to know what to expect. If I had any questions they answered them.

My new knee is helping my other knee not need surgery
Very happy with Dr Johnson and Lawrence General Hospital and the staff there. The in house therapy was very helpful and they pushed me to where I needed to be. Outpatient therapy at Northeast Rehab was excellent and looked forward to going.

My knee finally feels right thanks to Dr Johnson
I had total knee replacement 4 years ago with another doctor and it never felt right. After meeting with Dr Johnson for a "hip" problem Dr Johnson discovered it was really a knee problem. Now my knee feels great.
