Easy to talk to, clear next steps, very comfortable
Clearly Dr. Marcus is very knowledgeable, However, what separates him from "the rest" is how easy he is to talk to. This was a first session, but you can tell he cares, asks good questions, and provides clear feedback and next steps. Made me feel very comfortable that I was in good hands!

I was quite impressed with Dr. Marcus' ability to draw me out.
Dr. Marcus' initial intake with me by Zoom was extremely thorough, and I was quite impressed at his skill at trying to delve into the interrelationships of clients' feelings and behaviors, past or present. As an example. We also went over my medications. He is not sure I am bipolar yet, so I shall be curious to see his ultimate "diagnosis," so to speak, So much for now.

Very helpful and informative.
The doctor listened to everything I had to say, asked helpful questions, pointed out a few things I hadn't realized before and went out of his way to make me feel at ease. It's a humbling thing to need to go to a psychiatrist so I really appreciate Dr. Marcus's welcoming demeanor.

My experience with Dr. Marcus was refreshing, He had listened to all my concerns and talked with me about my problems I'm currently going through. He made me feel welcome upon entering the call and I'm grateful to have someone like him helping me through this program.

Life Saver!!!!!
Words cannot express my gratitude. My psychiatrist retired and I was left stranded. He has accepted me into his practice and has taken time to understand my complex diagnosis. I highly recommend him.

My experience was quick, easy, and effective.
Dr. Michael Marcus was very helpful; he was able to diagnose and prescribe me with medicine quite quickly. He was clear and direct, asking me specific questions and providing a detailed explanation of the solution. He seems to really care about is patients and to be very devoted to getting them the need they need.

Dr. Marcus is missed in-person due to COVID. He does Teletherapy, and is always responsive. Dr. Marcus is highly intelligent and provides such clear and focused solutions to help me. I work at a top notch college in the Boston. My job is extremely stressful, especially now during COVID. No matter if a personal or work-related crisis he applies his critical thinking skills and professional techniques for me to manage my highly stressful professional career and personal life. 5 Stars!

Grateful Patient
No One likes to ask for help especially men, with the pandemic and everyday stress I needed help. I spoke to Emery Marcus and after our talk I felt that a burden had been lifted off my chest. She listened to my issues ,concerns and fears. Her voice was reassuring and calm. I don't know why it took me so long to talk to someone but I am glad I did. I can not thank her enough for all she has done for me in the short period of time. There is a light at the end of this tunnel. Thank You Emery.....

Incredibly responsive and immediately able to understand my issues.
The one liner says it correctly. Dr. Marcus was incredibly responsive, and had a break in is calendar that allowed him to intake me on the call-live (wonders of telemedicine). Not only was he able to quickly get to the core of my issue, but he offered some real insight and a prognosis that makes sense. Will be following up with him and his office on an ongoing basis.

Wonderful Doctor

I have been going here for about 17 years.
While I love seeing Dr. Cahill and she has always taken care of me, the Receptionists are very mean. They are accusatory, disrespectful and rude.
