I decided to have Exparel used with the extraction to help with the pain, and as a result I didn't need to use the prescribed opiate at all. Ibuprofen was enough to make the pain manageable over the few days afterwards. It still wasn't a pain free recovery but much better than I expected!

Dr. Tan takes time to explain what is going on and has a calming nature.

My experience with Dr. Tan went well. At first, he seemed to be a little closed off and not too friendly, but I quickly realized that he is just a professional man. When I had difficulties healing, he was very punctual and acted immediately to resolve my problems. Being able to communicate via phone was very effective, because we were able to stop an infection in my mouth. During our follow up appointment, he was extremely nice and I am glad he was my doctor. I am not a fan of the dentist, and I have a fairly weak tolerance for pain, but Dr. Tan acted quickly to make me more comfortable.

I have complete trust & confidence in Dr.Tan. He did both my kids wisdom teeth and now my extraction. I find him approachable, skilled, competent & professional. I would highly recommend him!
