Helpful and excellent explanations
Even when busy, felt like he had all the time in the world to spend with me. Answered questions and gave options. Felt like process of recovery was collaborative. Easy to get in touch with and a good listener. Patient and compassionate with great encouragement and reassurances during the recovery process.

Dr Marvil, has always been there for me, from injections to replacing both my knees, I had one done a year and a half ago and now on 2021 the other one. If anyone needs a knee replacement, he should be your guy, because hes my guy.

Best ACL repair I've had!

Confident I will be on the hiking trail soon
HTO recommended for my right knee issues and so far the healing process although not painless is going well. I am glad this surgery verses a partial knee was recommended and performed as it feels more natural already even though I'm 3 months post surgery. Dr. Marvil is a great listener and gave the best advice on how to fix my knee issues while considering my age and activity level.

Dr. Marvil is amazing!! From the first moment I saw him he put me at ease and I knew he was the right doctor. In fact he was an answered prayer I have been in pain for over five years and was told by the local doctor that I needed to deal with it or lose weight!! So I dealt with it for another year and finally went to another doctor who referred me to Dr. Marvil. My surgery was successful I am able to do things I hadn't been able to in years!! And this was with in a few weeks post op. I can only say if you are having hip pain don't wait another day call Taos Orthopedic and schedule your appointment with Dr. Marvil

Dr Marvil is an excellent doctor
Dr Marvil has done three of my surgeries (both hips and right shoulder). He has done an excellent job. I highly recommend him. He's a very good personal doctor which is a asset. I still need knee replacements in the future and would have Dr Marvil do both of them.

Got my life back, 100%
This provider explained what the procedure would be, informed me about the hip replacement he would use. He took the time to talk to me. Post-op he followed up well. His staff was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Dr. Marvil.

As soon as I met Dr. Marvil, I knew that I had made the right decision about letting him fix my knee. He appears to be a kind and confident man and I trusted him immediately. Excellent! Dr. Marvil and all the staff were friendly and proficient.
Excellent. I had reverse shoulder replacement surgery in May of 2019 with Dr. Guttmann in May 2019 with excellent results. This was followed in November 2019 with an accidental elbow fracture and dislocation which Dr. Guttmann sucessfully attended to.. So, as my knee failed I knee where I would get the best care.
