Dr. Panero is a great listener. He show real concern for his patients' issues. He gives very clear explanations. He does an excellent job of explaining various treatment options as well as their pros and cons. He sets realistic expectations for outcomes and recovery times.

I should note I was referred to Dr Panero by an orthopedic surgeon at UC Davis. I originally received PRP injections in my elbow in January 2020. It worked great and I returned to golfing in late April, however several weeks later I ruined my progress by over working my elbow in a landscape project. In November I received a more aggressive treatment of stem cell injections. Now, my elbow is brand new and I’ve once again returned to golf. That’s my passion. During both procedures and recovery Dr. Panero was very professional and highly competent. I had lots of questions and he had even more answers. He described the treatment options and procedures and left me confident and excited to get started. I’m very thankful to Dr. Panero and his assistant Sabrina.

He is always clear and makes sure all of my questions are answered before i leave. He makes sure I understand all of my options. He has treated multiple joint issues including knees, back and neck. I would recommend him highly for anyone looking for alternatives to surgery.

Dr. Panero was referred to me for my severe knee pain due to arthritis caused by over exercising. He gave me fluid supplementation and amniotic therapy. He avoids Cortisone shot for pain relief, and I really appreciate that because I for one do not like Cortisone shot due to bad side effects; unless there's no other therapies. Along with these therapies, he referred me to a very good and efficient Physical Therapy Clinic for 2 months to meet 2 x a week. After I completed my physical therapy, I initiated self-massage for pain management. He recommended Voltaren along with my self-massage therapy. Now, I am almost pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Panero to anyone who has similar problem with mine. If I had not seen Dr. Panero, I might have resulted to knee surgery.

Dr Panero ranks among the top experts in his field. After enduring weeks of pain, (which was difficult to diagnose), in just one office visit, Dr. Panero was able to accurately diagnose the problem, (stress fracture) and provide immediate relief with a comprehensive healing plan which put me back on the road to running in a reasonable amount of time. If it weren't for Dr. Panero's immediate response to my injury I would have suffered months of pain, and would have sustained more permanent damage. I highly recommend Dr. Panero.

Dr. Panero, is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what is causing my pain. He is very caring and treats you like you are his only patient. He never is in a hurry and takes the time to talk to you and is interested in your situation and what is causing your discomfort. I have been going to Dr. Panero for many years. I have knee problems and he always takes care of my pain. When I go there I am always in pain. After a few days I am pain free and ready to go for walks. If anybody has problems with pain look no further and go to Dr.Panero. You will feel great and healthy and will want to do physical activity again.

He thinks outside the box and finds solutions to problems that were missed by other doctors! Being a woman in my 70's, perhaps I have a unique perspective of Dr.Panero's wide range of expertise. Over the years he has treated me successfully for fibromyalgia related, bunched up muscle pain in my shoulder and neck with Botox! Brilliant! Now 80 years of age, months after suffering a fall that fractured my shoulder, he has diagnosed my persistent symptoms of dizziness, imbalance, vision changes and gastronomical pain as Post-Concussion Vertigo/Syndrome and has referred me to an Impact Trained DPT-Post-Concussion Therapist. After many years of pain from arthritis I did some research and I have been so lucky to have found Dr. Panero. He has really listened to me and my needs. All of the other doctors I have seen have only recommended a knee replacement but PRP and hyaluronic acid have changed my life. I highly recommend him to all of my friends and family. I came into the PRP experience with pain 24/7 and was at my wits end. Dr. Panero explained that with this treatment it was like starting over with my therapy but the outcome was going to be more positive. The PRP was going to facilitate healing faster than my body could do on its own but it would take some time to get there. I had done a little research and after my initial consultation was ready to move forward with in hopes to get back on the court sometime in the near future. The pain of the injection (24 hours after) is no joke but after 2 weeks or so I could tell that it had helped. I no longer had that 24 hour a day pain that was so exhausting. I remain optimistic as I continue rehab and look forward to playing tennis again sometime in the next 3 months or so.

Dr. Panero is a clinically skilled and expert treating M.D. The procedures he has done, to help me with extreme hip pain, have been a positive life altering event. I've gone from barely being able to stand after getting out of a chair to using a home exercise bike. The education and clinical skills he has are like no other.
