I came into the appointment with doubts about getting the procedure done but he made me feel 100% comfortable. I am very happy and relaxed about my upcoming procedure.

This is more than a doctors office but more like a second home. The place is elegant, the staff is so friendly and the doctor is above 5 stars. I went in for a vasectomy and never enjoyed a procedure so much! I would probably do it again! He made me feel very welcome and comfortable. He knows how to talk to his patients to make them feel welcome and relaxed. The initial consultation was wonderful. Not only did he explain to a T about that but he gave me valuable information about my overall health. He took his time and explained everything to me and answered my questions without making me feel rushed. Exceptional doctor with vast knowledge. Now about the vasectomy itself. If I know how easy this was going to be I would've done it a long time ago. The tool he uses to numb the area is above and beyond any means necessary. It feels like you lightly flick it with your finger if not less than that. It was numbed within seconds and he started the procedure. I just laid there talking with him and the entire thing lasted no more than 15 minutes and I was on my way. If you are thinking of getting a vasectomy go to this doctor! It was an amazing experience and like mentioned earlier I could do it all over because it was easier than most things I do everyday! Thank you so much Dr. Pfenninger and staff! You went above and beyond! A++++

Dr. Pfenninger listens to concerns and provides treatment as needed. He looks at the whole person and addresses overall health. His articles in the Midland Daily News are spot-on, too.

Seldom does a physician take the time to sit and talk with you about what you are seeing them for; however, Dr. Pfenninger takes the time to discuss things not even associated with the procedure. He is wonderful!

Dr. Pfenninger was very friendly and knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time making us comfortable with the procedure.

This procedure for me was something that I thought was going to be painful and scary. The moment I got into the office I was helped out by the doctor and was put in ease. The procedure I had was less than 30 mins and I had no real discomfort. Once everything was over I made the statement, "That's it? You're kidding me." I would not do it over again, but I am telling you that I worried more than I should have and it was an overall great experience all things considered

I am a fourth year medical student who had the amazing opportunity of spending a month with the man who wrote the book on Family Practice Procedures. Not only was I able to see lots of great pathology but I also was able to aid in performing over 30 vasectomies, 5 frenotomies (tongue ties), cryotherapy, excisions, and even using Candida antigen for the treatment of warts in just the month that I rotated at the practice. I was amazed to see how people would travel from far away cities like Detroit and Cadillac to get procedures performed by Dr. Pfenninger. His practice in Midland is clean and very welcoming with decorations and smiles greeting you when you right when you walk in. Not only am I recommending this practice for future medical students to rotate at but I cannot say enough about how much it means to patients when Dr. Pfenninger not only treats the problem they are presenting with but makes a point to look at their past medical history and preventative testing to treat the whole patient. - 4th year medical student

When arriving to the facility, the office is beautiful. So cozy and warm, The staff is friendly and outgoing. They are always willing to help in any way they can to make my visit comfortable. Dr. P is down to earth in making you feel comfortable while treating me during my visit. He never rushed through the appt or made me feel that I was taking up too much of his time. He went above my normal visit for myself and also had his staff give me helpful information on all sorts of vitamins, procedures and the word articles that he writes each week in the Midland Daily News Paper on Sunday. I would highly recommend his medical office to anyone. I had an enjoyable visit in his office.
