I've had 2 procedures done(1 per leg), including an extensive pre-op testing, post-op follow-up & testing, & the BEST TREATMENT I'VE EVER RECEIVED! Dr Magnant is not just an extremely talented professional who's at the TOP of His Skills & Knowledge, but he has captured what most Providers can't! His appointments are well organized, so when the customer walks out the door after that initial vist, there isn't ant questions. Have questions? The staff is Superior! They can answer anything you have questions or concerns about, & the various staff you work with during you time here make the difference! I almost wish I had more excuses to keep coming back! An exceptional medical experience with Dr. Joseph Magnant and staff.
As a PA with one of the orthopedic surgeons in Fort Myers,I have spent greater than 30 years on my feet in and out of the OR, now with an exceptional medical experience with Dr. Joseph Magnant and staff. The diagnosis of venous reflux disease was so accurate for the burning legs and ankle and foot swelling i was experiencing despite wearing pressure stockings.
Dr Magnant and his team are accurate, available and approachable and I would give the highest recommendation to anyone with these complaints. I truly believe some of the pain and swelling that we see with lower extremity arthritis is related to one's venous problems and if considering evaluation for a possible total joint replacement, one should have this less invasive evaluation and procedure prior to joint replacement surgery as the post operative recovery from a total joint would definitely be easier with less swelling and associated pain. After joint surgery the standard of care is several weeks of anti-coagulation to decrease risk of deep venous clot and if there is the co-existing problem of superficial venous insufficiency the swelling and pain after a joint replacement is much worse while on the anticoagulant.

Dr. Magnant was excellent!
He spent time with me to explain the procedure and made me very comfortable during the procedure! He made me very relaxed and even his singing wasn't that bad! The entire team at Dr's Magnant office was courteous and outgoing! All appointments were on time and scheduled according to my schedules. I appreciated the time Dr. Magnent and his team spent with me and I am already seeing great improvement even after only one leg procedure! I am now able to sleep all through the night now without having to get up to go to the bathroom during the night! I have also noticed that my ankles are not as swollen and I feel less bloated! And this was only after the first leg, so looking forward to completing the second leg in December.
I would highly recommend Dr. Magnant and his team that runs his offices like a well ran ship!
