Very professional staff
It was an annual visit and my first time seeing him. He took time to examine my eyes and explain the results to me. There were no changes from my last visit with my former ophthalmologist so I didn’t have many questions. I felt confident in his ability - and felt that if necessary he would have spent additional time with me. No complaints!

Great experience!
As a new patient with a new eye injury, Dr. McGaughy was professional, explains in ways you understand, and thorough! And he had a way of making me feel at ease given the newness of my injury. I would recommend him and will utilize his service whenever needed!

Dr. McGaughy explains every aspect of my cataract surgery very clearly. The evening after my surgery he personally called to check on me which I greatly appreciated. He takes time to listen and to explain things. We have decided that we will follow him to the Myrtle Beach office because of his caring professionalism.

Dr. McGaughy and the entire staff are fantastic!
I am saddened to know Dr. McGaughy is moving to the Myrtle Beach office. I would like to continue my care with him. However, since I live in Murrells Inlet it just doesn’t make sense to do so. I wish him nothing but the best!
