Dr. Afshar has provided a great experience for a process that can be very uncomfortable. The staff is awesome and very welcoming. Gary and Julia are always very warm and helpful with answering all my questions. I will always recommend the Vein Institute.

Excellent care! Dr. Afshar and his staff are fantastic!
From the very first day of treatment to the last, I felt completely at ease and in good hands. Both Dr. Afshar and Gary, his CMA, are fantastic. Both are knowledgeable and personable, and willing to take the time to make sure that their patient is comfortable and well informed. The office staff has been incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had a very positive experience, and give this practice my highest recommendation.

Like family...highly recommend!
My wife and I both have come in for various treatments over the past few years. I could not be more impressed with Dr. Afshar and his staff at Vein Institute. Julie, Gary, and the rest of the team go out of their way to make our visits as comfortable and personable as possible. They always greet us by name & with a smile, and talk to us like we are part of the family. Dr. Afshar personally calls us to follow up after appointments, and makes us feel like the most important patients that he has.

I love love love this Dr and the staff
i am extremely afraid of NEEDLES and this has been overall the best experience with a Dr and staff I have even had . Very compassionate and caring crew. Thank you all you have done for me and my health . Thank you for showing me that Drs are awesome .

Can't say enough good things - 5 stars
My experience with Dr. Afshar and his practice could not have been more positive. I was treated with so much caring and respect. The wait time was minimal to none. All procedures were carried out with the utmost concern for my comfort and safety. Everyone was so nice, and Dr. Afshar is an absolutely exceptional physician. He is so kind to his patients, knowledgeable and highly skilled. I wish all of my doctors were like this, it is a standard that is not met by many. I have been spoiled!

I came to Dr. Afshar when my legs were hurting. He explained how the valves in my veins were allowing blood to run in the wrong direction. After the first treatments the pain was gone and my legs looked amazing. I was back to wearing swim suits, skirts and shorts. My experience has been life changing. I have returned to a very active lifestyle. Thank you so much!

I've had nothing but positive experiences every time I've had a procedure. Minor discomfort that never last more than a few seconds. I received follow up calls to make sure I was doing OK. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Stellar experience with the Vein Institute of CT!
I had put off for years to have my legs tested for the flow of blood within my veins. When I moved to CT. I booked an appointment for a consultation. Dr. Afshar and his entire staff made me feel extremely comfortable with my decision to have the four vein closures which were found in each of my legs.
The entire process is lengthy do to insurance requirements, yet the practice was very supportive through the appointments.
Gary, the medical assistant made feel comfortable during procedures.

Antes de visitar al DR. Alex Afshar no me sentia comoda mostrando mis piernas, luego de esta primera visita y de seguir los excelentes tratamientos y recomendaciones del Dr. y su maravilloso staff, hoy puedo mostrar mis piernas sin preocuparme de esconderlas, lucen perfectas. the BEST of the best!
my experience with doctor Afshar and all his staff are professional in every way. Their service of the treatments were quite successful and it eliminated the pain in my legs and also minimized the veins that I was most concerned about. I'm very pleased with everything and I am planning to do some extra work concerning spider veins. I highly recommend him to others!
